The Oslo Stock Exchange began the week on a downward trend, with Norsk Hydro shares continuing to fall after recent downgrades from multiple brokerage firms.
As of 1:00 PM local time, the main index was up 0.11 percent.
The market’s performance follows a negative close on Friday, when Norsk Hydro shares declined sharply following the company’s announcement of asset sales.
Brent crude oil prices have also weakened slightly, trading at approximately $67.70 per barrel.
