Brittany Cartwright Confirms Split from Brandon Hanson, Addresses Surgery Funding

Reality television star Brittany Cartwright announced today that she and boyfriend Brandon Hanson have ended their relationship after just two months of dating.

The news came during a recent episode of Cartwright’s “When Reality Hits” podcast, where she addressed speculation about Hanson potentially financing her recent mommy makeover, which included abdominal reconstruction, liposuction, a tummy tuck, and a breast lift. “Oh my god. Absolutely not,” Cartwright said, laughing. “Nobody paid for my surgery but me, all me. I decided everything I wanted to do, for me.” She clarified that the split was amicable but ultimately unsustainable due to distance and Hanson’s existing commitments.

Cartwright and Hanson, both originally from Kentucky and having known each other for 15 years, were first publicly linked in late August. While initially describing their connection as casual, Cartwright later acknowledged Hanson was “making me happy.” She explained on the podcast that the long distance – they lived three hours apart – combined with Hanson’s responsibilities to his three children and work, proved too challenging. This breakup follows Cartwright’s previous split from Jax Taylor, with whom she shares son Cruz; their relationship was a central storyline on the show Vanderpump Rules.

“We still care a lot about each other,” Cartwright stated, adding that she believes being single is “what’s best for me” at this time. She emphasized her independence, declaring, “I’m a boss baby, boss bitch. I got this, all by myself and I’m happy.” The American Society of Plastic Surgeons reports a continued rise in mommy makeover procedures, reflecting a growing trend among mothers seeking to restore their bodies after pregnancy.

Cartwright indicated she hopes to remain friends with Hanson and is focusing on her own healing and personal growth.
