Inga Grencberga recently shared a nostalgic glimpse into her past, posting a photo of herself from 20 years ago on Instagram. “I have SO much to tell and encourage my younger self,” she wrote alongside the image, which shows her with a dark bob and long, glossy nails.
The author revealed she’d reconnected with the photographer, named Dansiga, and the two discussed recreating the photo after two decades.
Grencberga will turn 45 in September.
The past six months have been emotionally challenging for the writer, as her marriage to director Dž. Dž. Džilindžers ended just before their 10th wedding anniversary. Džilindžers ended the relationship in favor of actress Linda Kalniņa, making Grencberga his sixth wife. Despite the heartbreak, Grencberga has been open about her feelings on Instagram while continuing her active literary work.
