The incident occurred shortly before 3 p.m. on Schützenstraße, where traffic was stopped at a red light. As a 20-year-old driver attempted to maneuver around the line of vehicles, the teenager entered the roadway, reportedly trying to catch a tram.
According to police, the vehicle struck the girl head-on, sending her flying into a parked car. She then fell to the street. The injured teenager was conscious and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. (TT.com)
