Fan Vote Results Announced: Early Leaders Emerge in J.League All-Star Selection

The J.League has released initial results from the fan voting for the J.League All-Star DAZN Cup, revealing the early frontrunners for selection to the prestigious teams. This mid-season showcase, a return after a 17-year hiatus, is designed to highlight the talent across Japan’s professional soccer leagues. The voting period, which began on February 6, reflects ballots cast through February 9.

Currently, Kashiwa Reysol goalkeeper Tomoki Hayakawa leads the voting in the J1 league’s EAST region. The results indicate strong support for players from Kashiwa, with Suzuki Yuma, Naomichi Ueda, Leo Ceara, and Ryotaro Araki also ranking highly. Kashiwa’s manager, Tatsuki Kumei, currently holds the top spot in the managerial voting for the EAST region.

In the J1 WEST region, Keisuke Oosako of Sanfrecce Hiroshima is the leading vote-getter. Following closely behind are Hiroshima teammates, along with players from Gamba Osaka and Cerezo Osaka, and Vissel Kobe.

The “J.League All-Star DAZN Cup” will be held on June 13 at the MUFG Stadium (National Stadium). The event will feature players selected from all 60 clubs across the J1, J2, and J3 leagues, divided into all-star teams representing the six regional groups of the J.League’s centenary vision. The teams will compete in a tournament format.

The fan voting began on February 6, coinciding with the start of the J1 centenary league season. Hayakawa, who was last season’s J.League MVP, is currently the top vote-getter overall. This event marks a significant moment for Japanese soccer, offering a unique opportunity to celebrate the league’s talent and engage fans.
