Latvia’s New Year’s Eve celebrations are set to be particularly festive this year,as TV3 and “STAR FM” radio prepare to host a major show at the Zemgales Olympic Center in Jelgava on December 27th. The event will not only ring in 2026 but also commemorate a important milestone for the radio station, its 25th anniversary. Featuring a lineup of Latvia’s most popular musicians, the concert promises a lively send-off to the current year and a vibrant start to the next.

The New Year’s Eve show will be hosted by “STAR FM” personalities Jānis Romanovskis, Baiba Sipeniece-Gavare, Egons Reiters, Maija Rozīte, Rūta Dvinska, Mārtiņš Spuris, Oskars Lepers, and Māris Grigalis, uniting eight hosts on one stage for the first time ever during a New Year’s Eve show. Of course, Latvia’s best musicians and music groups will also participate, performing the brightest hits of the last 25 years, including “Instrumenti,” “Musiqq,” Ivo Fomins, Chris Noah, “Sudden Lights,” “The Sound Poets,” “Astro`n`out,” Olas, “Citi zēni,” Ozols, Andris Ērglis, Lauris Reiniks, Aija Andrejeva, Agnese Rakovska, Kristīne Pāže, Emīlija, Fiņķis, Gustavo, “A-Europa,” “Otra puse,” and many others, performing the most listened-to and beloved songs, including “Kalniem pāri,” “Zemeslodes,” “Daļa Rīgas,” “Nārnija,” “Sekundes,” “Laime šī,” “Sirds sadeg neparasti,” “Mēs dzīvojam pasakās,” “Ripoja akmens,” “Stils,” “Visa par daudz,” “Nakts vai rīts,” and other megahits.
