Lithuanian singer Justė Arlauskaitė-Jazzu received a surprise proposal from actor Tadas Gryn during her concert Friday night at the “Twinsbet” Arena in Vilnius.
The proposal took place at the end of the performance, following the song “Vasara,” when Gryn took the stage, knelt, and asked Jazzu to marry him.
“She said YES,” Jazzu exclaimed to the cheering crowd.
The special moment was captured in a video shared by socialite Agnė Grigaliūnienė:
The engagement was first reported by portal lrt.lt.
Žmonės.lt notes that earlier this year, Jazzu embarked on an ambitious concert tour, “Jazzu +100.” The tour featured performances in three major Lithuanian cities – Kaunas, Klaipėda, and Vilnius – with a stage show involving 100 musicians, including an orchestra, choir, and band.
“Jazzu +100” represented both a recent sound and a significant step forward in the artist’s career, featuring both new songs and beloved classics reimagined with a large musical ensemble. The impressive concerts took place on February 14th in Kaunas’ “Žalgirio” arena, February 27th in Klaipėda’s “Švyturio” arena, and March 6th in Vilnius’ “Twinsbet” arena.
“Singing with an orchestra is everyone’s dream – it’s a great privilege and responsibility. I grew up with classical music and always imagined one day standing on stage performing my songs with an orchestra. It’s powerful when so many instruments and energies merge into a whole – into the most stunning musical phenomenon,” Jazzu said.
