Jeannette Moenne-Loccoz, fondly remembered as ‘Sita’ Jeannette from the popular Chilean television show Morandé con Compañía, has stepped away from the entertainment industry to focus on a new career path.
The former model and television personality, now 51, has established a production company called ‘Saber Vivir,’ specializing in event planning and execution for clients primarily in the technology sector, according to recent reports.
Moenne-Loccoz first gained recognition in the 2000s as a model and dancer on Morandé con Compañía, eventually becoming a co-host of the program. She also hosted La ley de la selva and appeared in the children’s series BKN. Later, she transitioned to Canal 13 and Chilevisión before deciding to pursue other ventures.
In addition to her perform in entertainment, Moenne-Loccoz studied psychology and co-founded her production company. She briefly revisited the screen in 2018 as a guest on La Divina Comida, where she introduced her daughters, Celeste and María José, and made a cameo appearance in 2024 on Como la vida misma, playing the mother of a character in a wedding storyline.
“Fue entretenido, ni lo pensé mucho,” she said of her recent role on Como la vida misma, which translates to “It was fun, I didn’t think much about it.”
Despite the enduring popularity of Morandé con Compañía and the recent talk of its return to Mega, Moenne-Loccoz has expressed contentment with her current life and wasn’t contacted to participate in the revival. She shared that she prefers to stay informed through radio and enjoy her independence as a business owner. This shift reflects a broader trend of entertainment figures diversifying their careers and prioritizing personal fulfillment.
