Ryan will earn $6.1 million this season, splitting the difference between his $6.35 million request and the $5.85 million offer made by the Twins during the January 8 salary exchange. This agreement ensures the right-hander will return to a key role in the Twins’ pitching rotation.

The deal also includes a mutual option for $13 million for the 2027 season, with a $100,000 buyout clause.

The 29-year-old posted a career-best 13-10 record with a 3.42 ERA in 30 starts and one relief appearance last season, earning a salary of $3 million. His performance was a significant boost to the Twins’ playoff push.

Ryan will be eligible for full free agency following the 2027 World Series.

Fifteen players remain scheduled to appear at arbitration hearings, with the process continuing through February 13 in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Among those cases, Detroit Tigers pitcher Tarik Skubal, a two-time American League Cy Young Award winner, has requested a record $32 million, while the Tigers have offered $19 million to the left-hander.
