Recent statements from Fran Virgilio, the first since her highly publicized split from Karol Lucero, have stirred up conversation.
The influencer opened up during an intimate conversation with Pamela Díaz on Sin Editar, addressing the infidelity involving her then-husband and DJ Isi Glock. The split has been a major topic in Chilean entertainment news.
“People have been so supportive of me, and I think I’ve progressed thanks to everyone’s kindness. Of course, my family and close friends, but feeling that affection from people I don’t even know is wonderful,” she explained.
Virgilio also clarified that she currently has no contact with her ex-husband, but added, “Everything is okay, I’m not holding a grudge, there’s nothing to get revenge for.”
Karol Lucero Responds
Just days after Virgilio’s comments, Lucero addressed questions about their relationship on social media.
Responding to a fan on Instagram who asked, “Would you ever get back together? You two looked so perfect. Or have you moved on?” Lucero gave a firm answer.
“No. I’ve never gone back to an ex, and I don’t believe in second chances, especially when I destroyed the most critical thing in a relationship: trust. So, I decided to turn the page,” he stated.
Lucero followed up with a more reflective statement.
“Nothing is perfect, or this wouldn’t have happened. Not everything that glitters is gold, and even the most attractive roses have thorns. If you kill a butterfly, you’re cruel; if you kill a cockroach, you’re a hero. The action doesn’t change, only the narrative,” he wrote.
He concluded by saying, “I received the punishment I deserved for such a betrayal. I regret it and apologized… but I don’t even know if I can forgive myself. I lost seven years of a relationship, traded over 2,500 days for just one (a terrible one, at that), but I’ll always cherish the good times we shared.”
