Let’s pray for all those affected.”

Frankfort Assistant Police Chief Scott Tracey said during a press conference that the shooting, which occurred around 3 p.m. local time, involved three individuals – the two students who were injured and the suspect, who is not affiliated with the university. The incident is believed to be isolated.

Frankfort Police Department spokesperson Blair Hecker confirmed that officers responded to the university campus and secured the scene. “We have the suspect in custody,” Hecker stated.
