For a world often defined by fleeting romances, the marriage of Polish musician Kuba Badach and Aleksandra Kwaśniewska stands out as a lasting success story. The couple, who tied the knot over 13 years ago, have consistently defied expectations, proving that enduring love is possible even in the spotlight.
Kuba Badach and Ola Kwaśniewska Reflect on the Beginnings of Their Relationship
In a recent interview with Plejada, Badach and Kwaśniewska revisited the early days of their romance. When asked directly if he ever felt resentment for being primarily recognized through the lens of his well-known father-in-law, Badach offered a candid response.
Badach revealed that Aleksandra Kwaśniewska was already a fan of his music before they met.
“Things just seemed to fall into place with us. By the time I met Ola, I was already an active musician, working and with a body of work, and she knew what I did before we even met. She was a fan and apparently even went to concerts, but never, as they say, made a scene. (…) I think we’ve been together long enough now that I’m pretty relaxed about it,” he explained.
“Kuba has always known his worth. You weren’t necessarily a huge star in Poland, but the music community appreciated you much earlier on,” added Aleksandra Kwaśniewska.
Kuba Badach Speaks Frankly About His Famous In-Laws
Despite any initial concerns, Badach offered a surprisingly complimentary assessment of his in-laws.
“People in my industry know who I am and what I can do. I’ve always thought that if my friends and colleagues who understand music say that what I do is okay, then that means something to me. But let’s be honest, having in-laws who are a former presidential couple is quite a flex,” he quipped.
In a recent interview with “Viva!” magazine, Kuba Badach joked that he shares one particular skill with his mother-in-law, Jolanta Kwaśniewska: a knack for cleaning.
“Well, that’s how it is, you know? We both have a great sense of humor and everyone has their flaws and strengths. My strength is that I can clean, so my mother-in-law likes me, because she also likes to clean, so we’re both just cleaning freaks,” he said.
