Air raid alerts were first issued in the capital at 12:53 a.m. local time. By 12:58 a.m., Ukraine’s Air Force reported a high-speed target originating from the Chernihiv region was heading toward Kyiv. Military officials then urged all residents of the capital to seek shelter immediately.

He added at 1:35 a.m. that enemy drones were over the Obolon district, and that more missiles were still en route to the capital.
