The contestants competing on La Ruota della Fortuna were Ludovica, the two-night champion, Teodora, a video designer from Civitavecchia, and Demetrio from Marsale, a sales manager for a wine company.
The early rounds were challenging, with all three contestants landing on “bankrupt” or “passamano” on the wheel. None of them initially accumulated enough winnings to gain a significant advantage for the final round. Then came the turning point. Demetrio started strong, but was overtaken by Teodora, who quickly acquired a Jolly (which proved useful later in the game when she hit “bankrupt”) and high numbers. She created a comfortable lead, which Demetrio tried to close until the highly complete. The reigning champion, unfortunately, couldn’t recover after hitting “bankrupt” at a crucial moment.
Teodora entered the final round with over 25,000 euros. Despite her skill with letters, the pressure got to her, and she incorrectly guessed all three puzzles in the final, solo round of the game.
