The 24-year-old enjoyed a prolific first half of the season, netting 11 goals in 19 Betclic 1 Liga matches while playing for Pogoń Grodzisk Mazowiecki. He also contributed an impressive 10 assists, showcasing his all-around attacking prowess. Adamski’s strong performance has drawn attention as teams look to strengthen their squads for the remainder of the season.

Legia Warsaw initiated talks with Adamski, but a deal is now considered improbable. According to information obtained, the club and the player were unable to reach an agreement on contract terms and a development plan for his future.

Papszun addressed the club’s pursuit of a new striker during a press conference on Friday. He indicated he doesn’t anticipate any new additions to the team in the immediate future.

“Many strikers are of interest to us. Those names (Rafał Adamski, Karol Świderski – red.) are certainly interesting, but as of today, there are no specifics. We discussed some players during the training camp – some have already signed with clubs, others are appearing on the market and becoming available as squads rotate. Perhaps an interesting player will emerge from teams that have been eliminated from – let’s say – the Europa League. The scouting department, led by Piotr Zasada, is closely monitoring the market. We may bring in a striker, but there is no such topic at the moment – Papszun stated.

As a result, Adamski is expected to remain with Pogoń for the spring season. He will be free to discuss a move with other clubs at the end of his contract in June.

Several clubs, both within Poland and abroad, are reportedly interested in acquiring the 24-year-old’s services.
