LG Display to Showcase Next-Gen OLED Tech at CES 2026
LAS VEGAS – LG Display plans a comprehensive showcase of its latest OLED technologies for both consumer electronics and the automotive industry at CES 2026, the company announced. The display manufacturer will exhibit at two locations: the Conrad Hotel and the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC).
Under the theme “Display for AI, Technology for All,” LG Display will highlight innovations designed to optimize visual experiences in the emerging age of artificial intelligence and expand the adoption of OLED displays. The company’s advancements come as demand for higher-quality, more immersive displays continues to grow across multiple sectors.
At the Conrad Hotel exhibit, LG Display will unveil a new OLED TV panel featuring its Primary RGB Tandem 2.0 technology. This upgraded version of LG’s proprietary technology stacks red, green, and blue light-emitting layers independently, resulting in improved light efficiency, a peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits, and reduced screen reflections to just 0.3 percent. The company will also introduce a lineup of gaming OLED panels, including a 27-inch display boasting a 720 Hz refresh rate and a 39-inch panel offering 5K2K resolution. Primary RGB Tandem 2.0 will be integrated across the entire gaming range, enabling brightness levels up to 1,500 nits.
For the automotive sector, LG Display will demonstrate premium display solutions geared towards Software-Defined Vehicles (SDVs) in the LVCC’s West Hall. Key exhibits include a 51-inch Pillar-to-Pillar OLED display that stretches across the driver and passenger sides, offering personalized infotainment capabilities, and a new Slidable OLED dashboard concept. The Slidable OLED can retract into the dashboard with a 30R curvature and extend to 33 inches when the vehicle is parked or operating in autonomous mode.
LG Display will also present next-generation mobility technologies, including micro-LED transparent and stretchable displays. The company stated its participation in CES 2026 aims to strengthen relationships with global customers and reinforce its competitive position in both the consumer and automotive display markets.
