Lidl Lietuva is implementing a systematic price reduction strategy across a growing number of products, aiming to provide consistent savings for consumers rather than relying on short-term discounts. The company has already lowered everyday prices on nearly 100 of its most popular items, with recent products being added to the list each week.

“Our commitment to delivering the best value encompasses all customer needs, including care for their pets. Starting this week, we have reduced the price of pet food and other related products, allowing owners to provide their beloved four-legged companions with complete and high-quality nutrition at an even lower price every day,” said Antanas Bubnelis, Head of Communications and Corporate Affairs at Lidl Lietuva.

Despite the price reductions, Lidl maintains strict requirements for product quality. This move builds upon previously reduced prices for everyday goods, now totaling almost 100 items. The discounted selection includes grocery staples, dairy products, household chemicals, hygiene products, coffee, juices, nuts, snacks, and confectionery.

The low-price retailer, Lidl, began reducing prices on everyday products at the end of last year. In December, Lidl lowered prices on additional popular items. For example, 180g of Pilos butter is currently available for just €1.39. One liter of Pilos long-life milk (3.2% fat) costs €0.95, while 2% fat milk is priced at only €0.89. Lidl customers can also purchase their favorite Pilos Gouda cheese for €2.99.

Lidl’s leadership in pricing is also confirmed by independent research. A secret shopper study by market research firm SeeNext showed that Lidl offered the cheapest basket of frequently consumed goods on January 15th. The basket of most popular products at Lidl was recognized as the cheapest during all twelve months of 2025’s research.

Even lower prices on everyday products are available at all 84 Lidl stores in 29 cities across the country: Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda, Šiauliai, Alytus, Marijampolė, Kėdainiai, Telšiai, Kretinga, Mažeikiai, Tauragė, Jonava, Panevėžys, Ukmergė, Utena, Plungė, Palanga, Elektrėnai, Visaginas, Šilutė, Radviliškis, Vilkaviškis, Druskininkai, Rokiškis, Kaišiadorys, Nemenčinė, Gargždai, Molėtai and Jurbarkas.
