Liverpool face a daunting task in their Champions League Round of 16 clash against Galatasaray. Galatasaray arrives at Anfield in strong form, having recently defeated Basaksehir 3-0 at home in SüperLig play. Liverpool, meanwhile, settled for a 1-1 draw against Tottenham Hotspur this past weekend, leaving them near the relegation zone in the Premier League. Fans can follow live updates from the match on Foot Mercato starting at 9:00 PM.

For this crucial match, Arne Slot is without Bajcetic, Bradley, Endo, Leoni, and Isak. He has opted for a 4-2-3-1 formation, featuring Alisson in goal – a change from the first leg – and Frimpong starting at right back in place of Joe Gomez. Konaté, van Dijk, and Kerkez complete the back four. Gravenberch and Mac Allister will anchor the midfield, supporting an attacking trio of Salah, Szoboszlai, and Wirtz behind lone striker Ékitiké.

Okan Buruk’s Galatasaray will as well line up in a 4-2-3-1, missing Nhaga, Unyay, and Baltaci, as well as the suspended Davinson Sanchez. Boey, Singo, Bardakci, and Jakobs will form the defense, with Torreira and Lemina in defensive midfield. Sallai, preferred to Noa Lang, will play alongside Gabriel Sara and Yilmaz to supply service to striker Osimhen.
