Portuguese television personality Luisa Castel-Branco announced her departure from TVI‘s “Dois às 10” on Thursday, citing unexpected health challenges. The veteran presenter revealed she recently received a diagnosis of osteoporosis, which led to multiple fractures, requiring immediate immobilization and treatment. Castel-Branco’s emotional declaration included heartfelt gratitude to colleagues Cristina Ferreira and Cláudio ramos, reflecting on years of collaboration in the Portuguese entertainment industry.

Luisa Castel-Branco has stepped away from her television work due to health concerns, she revealed on TVI’s “Dois às 10” during the “Conversas de Café” segment on Thursday, February 5th.

The television personality explained that she recently received a surprising diagnosis. “I learned extraordinary things in the last month and a half, like how a person can wake up and suddenly have three fractured vertebrae. There was no Christmas, no New Year’s,” she shared. “There’s an extraordinary operation where they put cement into the vertebrae to support them.”

“I was completely caught off guard because I didn’t have a fall or anything. I even managed to fracture my heel… This is a warning about something I didn’t take proper care of, which is osteoporosis. Because I didn’t treat it properly, this was the result,” Castel-Branco explained.

“The doctors have advised me to immobilize for another month and a half. And it’s complete immobilization. I was here the other day, and the next day I couldn’t move at all,” she revealed. “Just kidding, but the cement really needs to harden.”

“I want to take this opportunity to say that I had fun for four years with all of you. People have no idea how much fun we had and the atmosphere we created,” she added.

“I’d never worked with Cristina before, and it only confirmed what I’ve thought and defended for years: I really like her ‘Pipi’,” she joked, referencing the presenter’s intimate spray tan last year. “And I hope more things come up.”

Regarding Cláudio Ramos, she stated he is “my heartthrob,” while visibly emotional.

“We worked together for a long time, actually, Luisa gave me the opportunity, she chose me to present with her ‘As Noites Interativas’ on TV Cabo in 2000, and she decided without even knowing me. That’s why I will always be grateful,” Ramos recalled.

“We’ll see each other again. For now, I’m going to recover,” Castel-Branco said.
