The BMKG reported the earthquake occurred at 3:56 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB) on December 5, 2025, at a depth of 258 kilometers.
“6 km Northeast of Depok City, West Java,” the agency stated on its official Twitter account, @infoBMKG.
