Magallanes Wins Third Straight in Caribbean Series 2024

After dropping their season debut, the Navegantes del Magallanes bounced back and, on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026, at Jorge Luis García Carneiro Stadium (Forum La Guaira), recorded their third straight win.

The Venezuelan club displayed its firepower, comfortably beating the Nicaraguan ninth‑place squad 7–2, highlighted by three home runs and solid pitching.

All seven Venezuelan runs arrived in the first three innings. Hernán Pérez opened the scoring with a two‑run homer in the first inning.

In the second frame, Aldrem Corredor followed with a massive two‑run shot and Renato Núñez added another back‑to‑back homer.

The third inning produced two more runs: Ángel Reyes ripped a double, and Wilfredo Tovar delivered a sacrifice fly.

On the mound, the staff limited Nicaragua to two runs — one in the second inning and a solo homer by Óscar Campos in the fourth.
