City Close Gap on Arsenal with Dominating Win Over Fulham

Manchester City emphatically defeated Fulham 3-0 on February 11, 2026, at Etihad Stadium, reducing the deficit to Premier League leaders Arsenal to just three points. The Citizens showcased their attacking prowess with a dominant first-half performance, leaving Fulham struggling to respond.

The scoring began when a miscued header from Fulham’s Sander Berge fell kindly to Antoine Semenyo, who slotted the ball home for his fifth goal in eight games since joining City in January. Just six minutes later, Semenyo turned provider, setting up Nico O’Reilly for a composed finish over Bernd Leno, doubling City’s advantage.

Erling Haaland then added a third before halftime, drilling a low shot into the bottom corner after a well-weighted pass from Phil Foden. The goal solidified City’s control and effectively ended the contest before the break.

Fulham had a rare opportunity to pull one back when Harry Wilson’s strike was saved by Gianluigi Donnarumma, but City capitalized on the let-off to maintain their relentless pressure. The Cottagers have now lost their last three matches and will be looking to bounce back quickly.

Pep Guardiola’s side, fresh off a dramatic late victory against Liverpool on Sunday, demonstrated their title credentials with a convincing display. This win adds further intensity to the Premier League title race as Arsenal prepare for their upcoming match against Brentford.
