Man Stabbed on Bronx Subway Platform, Suspect at Large

A 30-year-old man was stabbed on a subway platform in the Bronx yesterday evening and sought help by boarding a train, leaving him in critical condition.

The incident occurred at approximately 10:15 p.m. on the northbound B line platform at Bedford Park Boulevard. The victim sustained a stab wound to the upper torso and managed to enter a waiting train to request assistance. Emergency Medical Services transported him to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Police report that the suspect fled the scene on foot following the attack. As of today, no arrests have been made, and the motive for the stabbing remains unknown. This incident adds to ongoing concerns about safety on New York City’s subway system, which has seen increased scrutiny in recent years.
