Switzerland has added a second medal at the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics! Following Franjo von Allmen’s gold in downhill skiing, Mathilde Gremaud also struck gold in ski slopestyle. At Livigno, the defending champion, who celebrated her 26th birthday on Sunday, scored 86.96 points, just 0.36 ahead of her rival, China’s Eileen Gu.

Gremaud’s performance marks the first time a Swiss athlete has secured three consecutive podium finishes in the same discipline at the Winter Olympics. She previously earned a silver medal in 2018, finishing behind fellow Swiss skier Hoefflin. Another Swiss competitor, Giulia Tanno of Graubünden, finished 6th in the final.

The victory adds to Switzerland’s growing medal count at the games, and solidifies Gremaud’s position as a dominant force in the slopestyle event. This latest win is a testament to her consistent performance and dedication to the sport.
