Kozármisleny has named Mátyás Czuczi as its new head coach,the club confirmed Monday,as they look to improve upon their current tenth-place standing in the NB II league– Hungary’s second tier of professional football. Czuczi steps into the role following the departure of Máté Pinezits to MTK, bringing with him extensive experience as an assistant coach across multiple European nations. The appointment marks Czuczi’s first head coaching position, and he expressed his enthusiasm for the opportunity to lead Kozármisleny, a club located in Baranya County.
Mátyás Czuczi has been appointed the new head coach of Kozármisleny, the club announced Monday.
Czuczi expressed his gratitude for the opportunity and excitement about joining the team.
“I always felt that when the time came for me to start my own path as a head coach, this club could be an excellent starting point for me. I am very happy to be here now,” the coach said, taking over for Máté Pinezits, who has moved to MTK.
The 35-year-old Czuczi brings a wealth of experience, having previously worked alongside former Hungary national team manager Bernd Storck and Joan Carrillo, the former head coach of Videoton, a Hungarian champion and cup winner. Czuczi has also served as an assistant coach in Belgium, Slovakia, and Poland, as well as with DVSC and PMFC in Hungary.
Kozármisleny currently sits tenth in the NB II league table.
