A week after a search for Maycon Douglas ended with the discovery of his body on Praia do Sul beach in Nazaré, Portugal, a final farewell was held for the young star on Sunday, January 11th, in Leiria. Family, friends, and several former contestants from the eighth season of the TVI reality show, «Secret Story – Casa dos Segredos», gathered to pay their respects.
Renata Reis, who appeared alongside Douglas on the show, attended the memorial and later took to social media to remember her former co-star. Sharing several moments from their time together inside the Secret Story house via her Instagram stories, she accompanied the post with a poignant message: “Always Busy Rockin’ Crowds [Sempre ocupado a animar multidões]. Para sempre.”
