Get ready for a lucky streak in the arena! Meowth is joining the roster of Pokémon UNITE as a nimble, short-range attacker. The Cat Pokémon is known for its cunning and, especially, its fondness for gold coins. As players navigate the Aeos region, collecting gold coins dropped by basic attacks and Meowth’s moves will increase its speed – a key advantage for swiftly pilfering battle items from unsuspecting opponents.

While Meowth may not have the same endurance as some other Pokémon in Aeos, its unique playstyle is proving to be a valuable asset.

Ability: Pickup

When attacking an opposing Pokémon, Meowth steals a held item. Defeating a wild Pokémon also results in a random held item being stolen. Movement speed increases when heading towards Aeos energy and gold coins, and temporarily when picking them up. This ability has a cooldown period before it can be activated again.

Basic Attack

Meowth’s third consecutive basic attack is a boosted attack that throws gold coins at opposing Pokémon it hits.

Moves at Levels 1 and 3

Scratch

Meowth scratches the selected opponent with sharp claws, dealing damage.

Feint

Meowth lunges at the selected opponent, dealing damage to opponents in its path.

Pay Day

Meowth throws gold coins in the selected direction, dealing damage and slowing down opponents it hits. Coins fall near the hit opponent, and collecting them reduces the cooldown of this move. This move can stack up to two uses. Pay Day can be upgraded to deal even more damage.

Fury Swipes

Meowth attacks the selected opponent twice with its sharp claws, dealing damage and granting a shield. The number of swipes increases up to a maximum of five, depending on how recently it has damaged opponents. Hitting resets the counter, and reaching the maximum number of swipes resets the cooldowns of Feint, Fake Out, and Last Resort. Fury Swipes can be upgraded to deal even more damage.

Fake Out

Meowth leaps onto the selected opponent and scratches with its claws, dealing damage and stunning them. Upon a successful hit, Meowth gains a shield and can quickly move in the selected direction, and the next basic attack will be a boosted attack. Upgrading this move increases the shield’s strength.

Last Resort

Meowth charges in the selected direction, restoring HP and dealing damage to opposing Pokémon, with damage doubled if it has recently damaged them at least five times. The counter resets afterward. Additionally, the more times it has recently damaged the opposing Pokémon, up to a maximum of five times, the more HP is restored. Upgrading Last Resort reduces its cooldown.

Meowth’s Unite Move

Constant Coin Barrage

Meowth launches a barrage of gold coins at the selected opposing Pokémon, dealing damage and causing coins to fall near them periodically. If another opposing Pokémon crosses the path of the barrage, that Pokémon takes the damage instead.

Players can look forward to a rewarding experience with Meowth in the game!
