Welcome to live coverage of the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina.
What’s on tap? A modern day of competition with opportunities for French athletes to reach the podium, including in biathlon with the men’s relay and in freestyle skiing with the duo of Timothé Sivignon and Matias Roche. The French men’s hockey team will also have a final chance to qualify for the quarterfinals if they defeat Germany in a qualifying match. Later this evening, 21-year-old Lorine Schild will begin her individual competition with the short program in figure skating.
Where? The men’s biathlon relay will take place in Anterselva (Trentino-Alto Adige), while the figure skating short program and the French men’s hockey match will be held in Milan (Lombardy). The freestyle skiing final will be contested in Livigno (Lombardy).
When? The hockey qualifying match against Germany is scheduled to begin at 12:10 PM, the biathletes will start at 2:30 PM, and figure skating will commence at 6:45 PM. The freestyle skiing final will close out the evening, starting at 7:30 PM.
