Millie Bobby Brown Reflects on ‘Stranger Things’ Finale, Cherishes Friendship with Noah Schnapp
As the highly anticipated final season of Stranger Things nears its release this month, Millie Bobby Brown has spoken emotionally about concluding her decade-long role as Eleven and the profound impact of her co-stars.
Brown, who was around 12 years old when she began filming the Netflix series, described the experience as “so emotional and so surreal,” adding, “But it made me feel very grateful and honoured to have been a part of such an amazing show for so many years and to have played such a wonderful character. So, I’m feeling very blessed and honoured.” She also acknowledged the challenges of growing up under public scrutiny, stating, “There is a pressure to get it all right. And if you really looked closely into anyone’s life, I think you could pick everyone apart. So, it was definitely challenging.” The show’s cultural impact has been significant, launching the young cast into international stardom.
A key source of support throughout her journey, Brown emphasized, was her close friendship with co-star Noah Schnapp. “I truly don’t know what I would be doing without Noah in my life,” she shared. “He is my best friend, and that’s all I’ve ever known.” She described their bond as uniquely unconditional, comparing all other friendships to it. Brown further explained that she deeply values Schnapp’s advice, noting their connection predates the show’s success, fostering a level of trust rare within the industry. “It’s because we look out for each other,” she said. “It’s so pure, because we’ve known each other before any of this hit us…His motives are always pure and loving.” The final season is expected to address lingering plot points and provide closure for fans worldwide, as reported by Rolling Stone.
Production on the final episodes is currently wrapping, with Netflix expected to announce a firm release date for the season in the coming weeks.
