Following a casting call held January 17th in Villamblard, where 71 young women from across Aquitaine sought an opportunity, 23 candidates have been selected to move forward in the departmental competition and commence preparations.
Dance, General Knowledge…
In Douville, the candidates participated in a day focused on team building and personal development. The goal was to foster a team spirit, encourage self-discovery, and build confidence – core values championed by the Miss 15/17 Aquitaine committee.
The day’s activities included initial choreography lessons, essential for future stage performances, as well as a general knowledge test and a dictation exercise. These assessments aimed to highlight the candidates’ curiosity, critical thinking skills, and public speaking abilities. The day was filled with engaging interactions in a supportive atmosphere.
Pageant culture continues to evolve, offering young women platforms for self-expression and leadership development. This initial stage of the competition emphasizes more than just physical appearance, focusing on intellectual and interpersonal skills as well.
