Motorcycle racing fans will soon be able to experience the thrill of MotoGP firsthand on PC and consoles with the announcement of MotoGP 26. Developed by Milestone, the latest installment in the popular racing series is slated for release on April 29, 2026 and promises to deliver a more immersive and authentic MotoGP experience than ever before.

The new MotoGP season on PC and consoles kicks off in April with MotoGP 26 Zoom

A key feature of MotoGP 26 is the introduction of Dynamic Rider Ratings. Each rider will be represented by a rating card based on four core attributes: lap time, pace, head-to-head performance, and reliability. These ratings will dynamically update based on real-world race results, reflecting current rider form and influencing the competitive balance both in Career Mode and beyond. This system aims to create a more realistic racing environment, mirroring the fluctuations of performance seen in the actual MotoGP championship.

The game will feature all official riders and circuits from the 2026 MotoGP, Moto2, and Moto3 seasons. MotoGP 26 also boasts an improved physics model with a rider-based handling system, allowing players to realistically control the motorcycle by managing rider weight distribution and body movement. This enhanced control is designed to deliver a more immersive and responsive high-speed racing experience.

Enhanced Physics, 3D Paddock, and Race Off Mode

To further immerse fans in the world of MotoGP, the Career Mode has been revamped around a fully explorable 3D paddock hub, serving as the central location for the entire race weekend. Players can now engage in off-track activities, including Thursday press conferences and managing a personal manager.

During Thursday’s press conferences, players can set short- and long-term goals, publicly challenge rivals, or push their team to accelerate motorcycle development. The personal manager plays a crucial role in career progression, handling contract negotiations, arranging meetings with team and manufacturer representatives, and advising players on key decisions in the rider market.

The “Race Off” game mode returns, now expanded with a brand-new venue and the introduction of Production Bikes – a new 1000cc class complementing Motard, Flat Track, and Minibikes. Like real-world riders, players can use “Race Off” for more relaxed racing, perfect for training and improving performance before the championship.

Both Arcade and Pro experiences are included, catering to both newcomers and seasoned players. The revised Arcade experience is ideal for beginners and those seeking simplified gameplay, while the Pro experience offers a pure simulation, providing the most realistic riding perceive and all the tools to create the perfect setup.

With cross-play* for up to 22 players and split-screen support, MotoGP 26 is set for thrilling online and offline races. Players can also customize rider appearances with advanced editors and share their creations – including helmet designs, numbers, and butt patches – with the community.**

*Cross-play is not available on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, and the field consists of 12 riders.
**Cross-sharing is not available on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
