Nicolas Frutos has stepped down as Sporting Director of RAAL La Louvière, the Belgian club announced Wednesday. The Argentine, 44, will “join another project in Belgium,” according to the team statement.

Frutos, a former player who finished his career at Anderlecht, joined La Louvière in 2023 when the club was competing in the amateur D1 league. During his tenure, he played a key role in developing the sporting structures for the first team, the Wolves Academy, and the RAAL Women’s section. This development coincided with back-to-back promotions – first to the Challenger Pro League in Spring 2024, and then to the Jupiler Pro League in 2025.
