Nkunku Clarifies His Position at AC Milan, Other Transfer News
Christopher Nkunku has addressed his current situation at AC Milan, while several other transfer developments are taking shape across European football. The updates reach amid the winter transfer window, with clubs preparing for the second half of the season.
In an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, Nkunku spoke about his experience with the Italian club. He joined AC Milan in 2025 after two seasons with Chelsea, where he scored 18 goals in 62 appearances. Prior to his time in England, Nkunku spent four seasons with RB Leipzig, netting 70 goals in 172 matches and being named Bundesliga Player of the Year for the 2021-2022 season.
Nkunku began his professional career with Paris Saint-Germain in 2015, winning three Ligue 1 titles and two French Super Cups before moving to Germany. The French international has also represented his country, earning 18 caps and scoring two goals since 2022.
Elsewhere in transfer news, Dayot Upamecano is set to sign a contract extension with Bayern Munich, keeping him with the club through June 2030. The deal will reportedly include a release clause. Kenan Yildiz is also finalizing a contract renewal with Juventus Turin through 2030, with a salary of six million euros per year and a signing bonus of just over six million euros.
