A new musical project arriving December 23rd seeks to amplify concerns about ecological decline through artistic expression. The collaborative album “Nouse Luonto,” featuring artists from Finland and Sweden, aims to spark conversation around what it’s creators term “silent ecocide.” Alongside this release, new work is anticipated from Irish folk duo Ye Vagabonds, continuing a period of notable output from both established and emerging musicians across the Nordic region and beyond.

A new collaborative album, “Nouse Luonto,” is making a powerful statement against environmental apathy and what its creators call “silent ecocide.” The 12-track project unites prominent artists from Finland and Sweden, including the band Frigg and soloist Maria Kalaniemi. Beyond its urgent message, the album is being hailed as a remarkably diverse and artistic musical production.
Also on the horizon is new music from Irish duo Ye Vagabonds, brothers Brian and Darmuid MacGloinn, whose sound has drawn comparisons to Simon & Garfunkel for a new generation.
