Nvidia may be preparing to add another graphics card to its RTX 50 series, positioned above the RTX 5090, according to reports circulating among hardware partners. Overclocking.com first reported the possibility of a new high-end GPU.
The potential addition comes as the graphics card market continues to evolve, with manufacturers constantly seeking to push the boundaries of performance. While technical details remain scarce, sources suggest this wouldn’t be a simple refresh of existing models.
Reports indicate that Nvidia is not planning “Super” versions of its RTX 50 series cards, a detail previously shared by leaker @jukan05 on X. The leaker stated that upgrade versions aren’t planned for the RTX 50 series this year. Instead, the company may be considering a standalone graphics card to expand the upper end of the RTX 50 lineup.
The naming for the new card remains undecided, with “Titan” or “RTX 5090 Ti” being potential options. A final decision has not yet been made, but is expected soon. According to the report, the release is already set.
Nvidia is reportedly planning a release for the new GPU in the third quarter of 2026. Details regarding production volume or a potential Founders Edition are currently unavailable. The company has not confirmed whether it will ultimately bring the graphics card to market, and will build an official announcement when it does.
