Raiders List Five Players on Injury Report Ahead of Chiefs Matchup

The Las Vegas Raiders released their injury report today, October 17, 2025, detailing the health status of several players as they prepare to face the Kansas City Chiefs.

Brock Bowers (knee), Jakobi Meyers (knee/toe), and Justin Shorter (illness) did not participate in practice. Bowers and Meyers were also absent yesterday, while Shorter is a new addition to the report. Head coach Pete Carroll addressed Bowers’ potential return, stating, “No, I don’t know about that…I’m optimistic always, but that doesn’t mean we’re getting him back. So, we’ll see how we handle that.” The Raiders have a bye week following the game against Kansas City, potentially influencing decisions about player availability.

Dylan Laube (hamstring) and Alex Bachman (ankle) were limited participants. Carroll also provided updates on players currently on Injured Reserve, including Aiden O’Connell and Lonnie Johnson Jr., noting both are “doing great in their rehab” and have a chance to return after the bye week. You can find more information about NFL injury designations at the NFL’s official website.

Meanwhile, the Kansas City Chiefs listed nine players on their injury report, but notably, Rashee Rice is expected to make his season debut after serving a six-game suspension. The Chiefs reported several players as full participants, including Rice, despite various ailments. For a deeper dive into the Chiefs’ roster, visit the official Chiefs team page.

Coaches will continue to evaluate players throughout the week, and final game-day status reports will be released prior to Sunday’s kickoff.
