OnePlus 15R: Prioritizing Battery Life and Performance
The OnePlus 15R has been generating buzz thanks to its substantial 7,400 mAh battery. This capacity exceeds that of the OnePlus 15 (7,300 mAh), already known for its impressive battery performance, suggesting the new model will deliver even longer runtimes. Longer battery life is a key feature for consumers increasingly reliant on mobile devices throughout the day.
To manage costs as a mid-range device, OnePlus has opted for a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. This is the standard version, differing from the “Elite” variant with slightly lower clock speeds. Despite this, the company anticipates top-tier performance that will surpass other devices in this market segment.
The phone features a 6.83-inch OLED display (1.5K resolution, 165 Hz refresh rate). However, the camera setup is a bit more modest, consisting of a 50 MP wide-angle lens (ƒ/1.8) and an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens (ƒ/2.2). Given the €729 price point, some consumers may have expected a more robust camera system.
OnePlus Pad Go 2 and Watch Lite Round Out the Lineup
In addition to the new smartphone, OnePlus has also released the OnePlus Pad Go 2, featuring a 12.1-inch LCD screen and a Dimensity 7300 Ultra processor. This represents an upgrade over the previous model and now supports an optional stylus (sold separately) for enhanced productivity. The tablet is available in both Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + 5G configurations, starting at €350.

Finally, the OnePlus Watch Lite is an affordable and discreet smartwatch. Priced at €180, it boasts a 1.46-inch OLED screen with an impressive brightness of 3,000 nits and can achieve up to ten days of battery life with most power-saving features enabled. Notably, the watch is compatible with both Android smartphones and iPhones. The OnePlus Watch Lite can track over 100 sports disciplines, with 12 offering high accuracy (such as running, tennis, and badminton). It can also analyze sleep quality, blood oxygen levels, and even skin temperature. This comprehensive feature set makes it a compelling option at its price point.
