The mid-range smartphone segment is experiencing a period of robust growth. Recent weeks have seen the arrival of the new Xiaomi Redmi Note 15, the latest Motorola models, and now the Oppo Reno 15 series. The Chinese manufacturer is once again offering four new models, ranging in price from €379 to €799, to meet a variety of needs and budgets.

Reno 15 Pro and Reno 15 Lead the Lineup
As the name suggests, the Oppo Reno 15 Pro (€799) is the flagship of the new lineup. What’s less expected is its compact form factor. With a 6.32-inch display, it stands out in a market increasingly dominated by larger devices. The screen is an AMOLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, promising a peak brightness of 1,800 nits.
Under the hood, the Reno 15 Pro features a Dimensity 8450 (4nm) chip, expected to deliver excellent overall performance. This is paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The phone’s camera system is also a highlight, featuring a 200-megapixel main lens (ƒ/1.8), a 50MP ultrawide lens (ƒ/2.0), and a 50MP telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom (ƒ/2.8). A 6,200mAh battery provides substantial battery life, supported by 80W wired charging.
The slightly larger Oppo Reno 15 (€649), with a 6.59-inch display, scales back the specifications in terms of performance (Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 and 8GB of RAM) and camera capabilities. The main camera is a 50-megapixel sensor, and the ultrawide lens is reduced to 8 megapixels. However, the battery capacity increases to 6,500mAh.
Affordable Models Prioritize Battery Life
Oppo is capitalizing on the advancements in silicon-carbon battery technology, focusing on battery capacity for its more affordable models. The Reno 15 F and Reno 15 FS are nearly identical… in Europe.
Elsewhere, the Reno 15 F includes a 6,500mAh battery, while the Reno 15 FS boasts a larger 7,000mAh cell. In Europe, both models will feature a 6,500mAh battery. Other differences include storage capacity, which is capped at 256GB for the F model and 512GB for the FS. Both smartphones share a 6.57-inch AMOLED 120Hz Full HD display and a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip – released in 2022. Both models also include 8GB of RAM.
The camera setup on both phones consists of a 50-megapixel main lens and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens.
The Reno 15 F and Reno 15 FS are priced at €379 and €449, respectively.
