Years after its release, the Hulu miniseries Pam & Tommy, dramatizing her highly publicized relationship and a important privacy breach, continues to be a source of distress for Pamela Anderson. The actress recently shared that a chance encounter with series executive producer Seth Rogen at the 2026 Golden Globes re-surfaced those feelings, highlighting the ongoing debate surrounding the ethical considerations of portraying private trauma for public consumption.Anderson, who has publicly criticized the show for being made without her consent, detailed her discomfort in a recent interview, underscoring the lasting impact of the series on her personal life and career.

Los Angeles – Pamela Anderson revealed a recent encounter with Seth Rogen at the 2026 Golden Globes left her feeling uncomfortable, reigniting her long-held frustrations with the 2022 Hulu miniseries *Pam & Tommy*. The series, which dramatized her tumultuous relationship with Tommy Lee and the leak of their private video, was created without her involvement, a point Anderson continues to find deeply upsetting.

Speaking on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM podcast, Anderson described the experience as “weird” and “disgusting.” The actress, who has experienced a career resurgence in recent years, has been vocal about the impact of the series on her life and privacy.

“He made *Pam & Tommy* without speaking to me. I just felt, ugh. How can someone make a TV series from some of the most difficult moments in your life? And I am a human being who is alive and breathing here,” Anderson said, according to reports from January 17, 2026.

Anderson recounted that Rogen was seated near her during the Golden Globes ceremony. “He was in the audience. We were close. I was like, I’m not just anybody here. I felt weird about that. I’ve been really busy working. I’ve made five films in the last year. Sometimes it hits you and you feel a little sad. It felt a little…icky,” she explained.

While acknowledging the unlikelihood of it changing anything, Anderson expressed a desire for Rogen to offer an apology, and to show some respect for her privacy. “Hopefully, he’ll reach out to apologize, not that it matters. When you’re a public figure, they say you don’t have any right to privacy. But your darkest, deepest secrets and tragedies shouldn’t be the subject of a TV show joke. That bothers me a little,” she stated.

Pam & Tommy explored the highly publicized relationship between Anderson and Tommy Lee, including the fallout from the stolen and leaked sex tape. The series starred Lily James and Sebastian Stan in the lead roles, but Anderson was not consulted during its production. The show sparked a wider conversation about privacy, consent, and the ethics of dramatizing real-life events.

Despite the lingering discomfort surrounding the series, Anderson has been focused on her career. After a period away from Hollywood, she returned to acting in 2022 with a Broadway debut in *Chicago*, followed by a role in the drama-thriller *The Last Showgirl* (2024), which earned her nominations for both a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild award.

Anderson is currently starring in the reboot of *The Naked Gun* alongside Liam Neeson, continuing a busy and successful return to the screen.
