Paris Packaging Week is poised for a “festive and creative” 2026 edition, building on a 27% increase in visitor numbers from a highly successful 2025 event. The trade show, encompassing ADF, PCD, PLD, and Packaging Première, is solidifying its position as a leading European gathering for packaging professionals across the aerosol, beauty, premium drinks, and luxury sectors.
“Spirit ICONIC”
The 25th edition of the event will be celebrated under the “Spirit ICONIC” theme, representing Innovation, Creativity, Originality, Network, Inclusion, and Celebration. The packaging industry is undergoing rapid transformation, driven by sustainability concerns and evolving consumer preferences, making events like Paris Packaging Week crucial for staying ahead of the curve.
Highlights include the return of the Pentawards Festival and the debut of the Innovation Awards Gala Party, to be held at the Pavillon Vendôme. This opening night gala will kick off the show and recognize award winners in a networking-focused atmosphere.
New for 2026 will be dedicated spaces focused on sustainable innovation, including the Refill & Reuse Zone, showcasing advancements in refillable and reusable packaging solutions.
“This 25th edition has a special resonance: it all started with PCD in 2001, in the cosmetics and beauty universe, and since then, Paris Packaging Week has continued to grow and diversify alongside the industry,” said Josh Brooks, co-director of the show. “Our ambition for 2026 is to offer a truly ICONIC experience: inspiring, connected and future-oriented, which reflects the evolution of our industry and celebrates the talents and innovations that will shape the packaging of tomorrow.”
Spaces Dedicated to Innovation
Approximately 155 new exhibitors – including Carré d’Ébène, Drago, MCC France Ouest, and Thepenier Pharma & Cosmetic – will join the event to present new ideas and innovative projects.
The Refill & Reuse Zone, developed in partnership with the New European Reuse Alliance (New ERA), a leading European association dedicated to reusable and refillable solutions, is a key addition. The zone aims to highlight pioneers in reuse and showcase innovations driving a circular packaging economy.
The Discovery Zone, launched in 2025 as a showcase for emerging technologies, will return with 20 startups presenting new materials, products, and technologies.
Following its success last year, the PCD Full-Service Zone will also return, expanded to accommodate more exhibitors.
Design and Trends
The Pentawards Festival, an international showcase for packaging design, will be held during Paris Packaging Week on February 5 and 6, 2026. The event will feature conferences, panel discussions, and immersive experiences to explore the latest trends and innovations in the industry.
Paris Packaging Week will also unveil its 2026 Trend Report – “Cool & Conscious” – for the second year. The report explores the growing demand for packaging that is both aesthetically pleasing and environmentally responsible, offering a virtuous cycle for consumers and the planet.
