Parkenfestivalen Announces Final Lineup for its Last Performance
Bodø, Norway’s Parkenfestivalen is preparing for a final performance, with the full artist lineup now revealed. The festival, which has been a fixture in Rensåsparken since 2006, will host its last event on August 21-22, 2026.
The announcement comes after a series of artist reveals beginning in February 2026, with the initial focus on hip-hop artists as part of “Reinspikka Hiphop Vol. 2.” Parkenfestivalen confirmed that tickets for the event sold out quickly following pre-sales in September 2025 and a general sale launch on March 2, 2026.
Festival organizers announced on March 26, 2026, that the lineup for “a last dance” is complete. Bodø Live notes the festival will feature music, including jazz and blues, as well as club and DJ sets.
Parkenfestivalen first opened its doors in 2006 and has since become a significant cultural event in the region. Bandsintown is offering ticket information for those still hoping to attend.
The festival’s decision to end after the 2026 event was announced on August 27, 2025, marking the 20th anniversary as “a last dance.” This announcement follows the introduction of Lars Jakob as part of the festival team on January 14, 2026.
