Pembree is launching a new Gravity Cockpit System (GCS) focused on durability and sustainability. The UK-based company has developed and tested the system – comprising the GCS Handlebar, CNC-machined GCS Stem and new GCS Performance Grips – for gravity-focused bikes, including trail, enduro, downhill, and freeride disciplines.
Pembree GCS Handlebar: Details and Pricing
The GCS Handlebar features a “race-focused” geometry, and Pembree confirms it has achieved EFBE TRI-TEST GR certification. The aluminum handlebar has a width of 800mm, 7° of backsweep, and 5° of upsweep. Available in two rise options (20mm or 40mm) and two clamp diameters (31.8mm and 35mm), the handlebar is designed for compatibility with various setups. Markings on the handlebar align with those on the GCS stem to simplify alignment and reproducibility. A shot-peened finish is as well intended to increase strength and provide a secure grip. The handlebar has a suggested retail price of €99.

Pembree GCS Stem: Details and Pricing
The GCS Stem is CNC-machined from aluminum containing at least 75% recycled material. Pembree also utilizes EFBE TRI-TEST GR certification for the stem. It features a wider clamping area, along with M6 stainless steel bolts and washers designed to securely hold the handlebar even under demanding racing conditions. An alignment guide is also integrated into the stem body to simplify setup in conjunction with the matching GCS handlebar. Currently, the stem is only available in a 35mm length, with additional options planned. The price is €149 (MSRP).

Pembree GCS Performance Grips: Details and Pricing
The GCS Performance Grips complete the cockpit with new lock-on grips. Pembree states the grips utilize an ultra-soft 20a compound made from recycled rubber, providing ample grip while reducing fatigue in the hands and arms during long descents. The grips are planned in two diameters (Thin 31mm, Thick 34mm). Instead of bilateral clamps, Pembree uses a tapered core made of recycled composite material extending to the outer edge for more comfort, requiring only a single lockring. The clamp colors are designed to match the stem (and D3A pedals).

Pembree+: Warranty Upgrade and Crash Replacement
Pembree+ is offered at no cost and significantly extends the warranty. The company states a lifetime warranty will be provided on handlebars, stems, seat clamps, and static seatposts, while flat pedals will have a five-year warranty. A crash replacement program is also included, reducing the replacement cost by 50%. Customers who purchase through a dealer can register within 30 days.
