Guards noticed smoke coming from the building on March 12

At approximately 4:20 PM on March 12, staff guarding the Petrohan hut noticed smoke emanating from the structure. Authorities were immediately notified, including the Chief Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, the investigative team from the National Police Directorate, the district prosecutor, and the fire department.

Upon arrival, the fire department team determined there was no active fire, but smoke was coming from a room used for storing wet wood pellets. Foam was deployed as a preventative measure against potential ignition.
