Rumors of a split after over two decades of marriage have been circulating, but Pink is setting the record straight. The singer addressed reports of a separation from her husband, Carey Hart, in a video posted to Instagram on Thursday, February 26, calling the claims “fake news.”

“So I was just alerted to the fact that I’m separated from my husband,” Pink said with a touch of sarcasm. “I didn’t know. Thank you for letting me know. Maybe you guys will tell our children? My 14-year-traditional and 9-year-old are also unaware,” she continued.

Pink Addresses Separation Rumors: “Will You Tell Our Children?”

Known for her outspoken nature and advocacy, Pink quickly pivoted the conversation to issues she believes deserve greater attention. This comes after she was nominated for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in her first year of eligibility, a detail she also pointedly brought up.

“Or maybe we could talk about something really important? Do you want to talk about the Epstein files? Or systemic racism? Or misogyny in sports? Or how amazing the women’s hockey team is?” she asked rhetorically, referencing current social debates.

In typical Pink fashion, she didn’t hold back in criticizing the media’s focus on sensational stories over her accomplishments. “Or do you want to talk about the fact that in the first year I was eligible, I got nominated to the f***ing Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? Do you want to talk about my accomplishments, or just my supposed downfall?” she continued, delivering a clear message to fans and journalists.

I love you all. Go with God and you guys in the tabloids can do better.
