Polish ski jumpers delivered another thrilling performance, securing a silver medal in the team event at the 2026 Winter Olympics! The competition was cut short due to challenging weather conditions – heavy snowfall and strong winds – with results determined after two rounds. The Polish duo finished just behind the dominant Austrian team. “Huge emotions in the team event at the Winter Olympics 2026. Poles won a silver medal in the snow! The competition ended after two rounds, with abnormal weather conditions disrupting the event,” Sport.pl reported.

Donald Tusk ecstatic after Kacper Tomasiak and Paweł Wąsek’s medal win. “Finally!”

The Polish success was quickly acknowledged by Donald Tusk, who shared his excitement on social media.

“Finally, some happiness on the Polish side! Silver medal! Bravo Kacper, bravo Paweł!” Tusk posted on X, accompanied by three applause emojis. 

Tusk’s post garnered nearly 200 comments and over 2,000 likes in under 30 minutes. 

This marks the third medal for Poland in ski jumping at these Games. Kacper Tomasiak previously claimed a bronze on the large hill and a silver on the normal hill.
