Austria is set to host a series of high-profile concerts this winter, bolstering the nation’s tourism sector and capitalizing on its reputation as a destination for both alpine recreation and cultural events [[3]]. The lineup,featuring a mix of Austrian and international artists,culminates with three performances by the Backstreet Boys in Schladming,expected to draw tens of thousands of fans. Concert organizers are hoping to replicate the economic success seen with previous performances by artists such as Robbie Williams and Bryan Adams, further diversifying Austria’s winter tourism offerings [[1]].

Austria is gearing up for a major concert series this winter, with a lineup that includes Seiler und Speer, Cro, Ski Aggu, Ikkimel, and Andreas Gabalier. But the biggest draw is expected to be the Backstreet Boys, who are set to perform three shows in Schladming and anticipate a crowd of 50,000 fans.

The concert series kicks off November 28 with a performance by Seiler und Speer in Obertauern, where organizers are preparing for up to 6,000 attendees. This wave of musical events highlights Austria’s growing appeal as a destination for both winter sports and live entertainment.

On December 5, the duo Edmund will take the stage, also drawing an expected crowd of 3,000 fans. Organizers in Schladming are drawing on past successes with major artists like Robbie Williams and Bryan Adams, confident that these ski-opening concerts will deliver a significant economic boost to the region.
