Diesel prices in Portugal are set to fall slightly next week, while gasoline prices are expected to rise, according to data released Friday, February 6.
The average price of simple diesel fuel will decrease to 1.581 euros per liter, offering some relief to diesel vehicle owners. Conversely, the average price of 95-octane gasoline is projected to increase to 1.674 euros per liter.
The Directorate-General for Energy and Geology (DGEG) reported that the average price of diesel in Portugal was 1.586 euros per liter as of Friday, February 6. Gasoline averaged 1.664 euros per liter on the same day.
The anticipated price adjustments represent a decrease of 0.5 cents per liter for diesel and an increase of 1 cent per liter for gasoline. These fluctuations reflect the ongoing sensitivity of fuel prices to global market conditions and supply dynamics.
