Recent filings with the Indonesia Stock Exchange detail Pangestu’s acquisition of shares in both PT Petrindo Jaya Kreasi Tbk (CUAN) and PT Barito Pacific tbk (BRPT),totaling Rp15.82 billion. This move by one of Indonesia’s most prominent investors is being closely watched as a potential indicator of confidence in the trajectory of these key market players, occurring amidst ongoing economic assessments for 2026. IDXChannel – Indonesian conglomerate Prajogo Pangestu has increased his holdings in both PT Petrindo Jaya Kreasi Tbk (CUAN) and PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) amid recent market fluctuations.
“The purpose is for personal investment,” Pangestu stated in a disclosure filed with the Indonesia Stock Exchange on Thursday, January 29, 2026.
Prajogo acquired 4 million shares of CUAN and 4 million shares of BRPT, purchasing them at varying price points.
He purchased CUAN shares within a range of IDR 1,770 to IDR 1,830 per share, while BRPT shares were acquired between IDR 2,130 and IDR 2,180 each.
The total investment amounted to IDR 7.21 billion for CUAN and IDR 8.60 billion for BRPT, bringing Prajogo’s combined outlay to IDR 15.82 billion. The moves by a prominent investor like Pangestu often signal confidence in the long-term prospects of these companies.
