How Does the Lottery Draw Work?
The numbers are drawn in the halls of the City Lottery of Buenos Aires -for the Federal Capital- and in the Halls of the Provincial Lottery -for Buenos Aires. Four ballot drums are used to form the different numbers; the first corresponds to the thousand, the second to the hundred, the third to the ten, and the fourth to the unit. Each of these ballot drums has ten balls (these balls have numbers from 0 to 9), and a fifth ballot drum forms the different dates on the board (this has twenty balls ranging from 1 to 20, corresponding to the twenty positions on the board).
