Chilean impressionist Raquel Castillo, known as “the woman of 5,000 imitations,” publicly accused her ex-husband of fraud, theft, and harassment on Thursday, sharing a video detailing her claims on social media. Castillo, who has built a significant following with her diverse range of character work, is currently seeking new management as she navigates a difficult separation.

“I’m going through a very complicated time with the separation, and I’m looking for a new manager,” Castillo explained to her followers. “I’m speaking very seriously, I’m not playing around. I need you to take me seriously this time (…) I need your help, your support, all of Chile.”

Addressing over 121,000 followers on TikTok and another 40,000 on Instagram, Castillo pleaded, “Please, can that man stop insisting, stop harassing me, stop ruining everything? There have been too many fights every day.”

Castillo also revealed she is currently staying in a “safe haven” in southern Chile, where she is hiding from her former spouse. “Enough of the fraud, enough of the theft, enough of everything, of interfering in my life. He’s negotiating at my expense, making things very difficult for me. I’m taking refuge in a part of the south that I can’t reveal,” she stated.

With a serious tone, the impressionist asked for assistance in launching a campaign to raise awareness of her personal and professional struggles. “I’m looking out for myself, for my health, and mainly for my finances. I’m tired of the situation, of them trying to take my inheritance, my things,” she shared.

Castillo asked her followers not to contact her ex-husband regarding work matters and requested they reach out to her directly through her social media channels to discuss potential event appearances. This public plea comes as Chilean celebrities increasingly utilize social media to address personal conflicts and manage their public image.
